Moving your hand to get a treat from a pouch might disturb your dog’s attention while training them. With Tristo, you don’t need to move your hand to get a treat. Tristo can be also helpful for training service dogs, especially for people with disabilities that make pouches difficult to use.

Tristo is a treat dispenser that you wear around your wrist and activate with the same hand you wear it on. Whenever you fold your finger and press the handle, the dispensing mechanism is triggered to release a treat right into your palm and emit a clicking sound at the same time.

Tristo is suitable for any kind of dog training that involves edible rewards. You can use Tristo for training your dog in your house, but its primary advantages are better manifested in outdoor training because it is portable and convenient to operate while walking around.

Any dog you would train with a dog pouch could be trained with Tristo more effectively and easily. Tristo might allow you to train dogs that are hard to train, like dogs that tend to snatch treats from your open pouch or dogs that lose attention when you move your hand to get a treat.

Depending on the size of the treats you are using, Tristo can contain between 20-50 treats, which should be more than enough for a standard training session.

Tristo is ergonomically designed to sit comfortably on your wrist without limiting your hand's movement, so you can use your hand freely while wearing Tristo. Its handle is carefully designed to allow you to press it repeatedly with minimum effort and no discomfort.

Tristo performed well on several types of snacks. Some treats would not fit that well because of their size or odd shape. When we further develop Tristo we'll expand our testing to more types of treats, and we're also looking into developing a line of treats that are specifically suited for Tristo.

We showed Tristo to a variety of experienced dog trainers, including dog trainers specialized in training service dogs. They loved it and believe that Tristo can be a great alternative to dog treat pouches and clickers.
